Finally, rinse the jewellery with clean water and dry it with a soft cloth.
Gemstones
Some gemstones are highly sensitive to heat and chemicals. Pearls and opals, for example, must not come into contact with perfume or hairspray, as this could cause them to lose their lustre or change colour.
