TUNGSTEN
Tungsten rings are fairly massive, heavy scratch resistant rings. Tungsten is a very hard and paradoxically brittle metal. Compared to titanium, tungsten can be broken on the finger in an acute situation, e.g. in the event of a finger injury. A tungsten ring can be destroyed on a hard surface and by a vertical impact of a hammer. That's why you need to be careful with black tungsten wedding rings so that they don't fall from a height onto a hard surface.
Internal engraving in tungsten rings is done with a laser.
