‘People often buy diamonds online that arrive permanently sealed inside a box,’ Klára Salabová warns. This type of packaging prevents the stone from being inspected and often conceals the absence of a laser inscription. For you, this poses a significant risk when the stone requires servicing or is sold.

‘That is why physically verifying the inscription under a microscope, right before your eyes, is standard practice for us,’ she adds.
